Prophets in Stereo is a Bucks County based band formed in the late summer of 2008. Singer and songwriter James Seward, guitarist Christ Covatta, bassist Ben Cleal and drummer Dan Quill quickly developed a unique and progressive sound reminiscent of their multitude of influences, primarily bluegrass, jazz and rock. The project is songwriter James Seward’s first endeavor into a full band scenario since releasing two critically acclaimed folk albums with Steve Garvey of the legendary punk band The Buzzcocks. Prophets in Stereo recorded and released their first full-length album in 2009. The album was produced by Andrew Weiss, whose credits include Ween and the Rollins Band.
